At our clinic, we especially recommend Skin Booster Injections for patients with dry skin and for those with thinner skin who are concerned about reduced firmness and fine wrinkles.
The treatment may also be suitable for patients with several concerns at the same time, such as fine lines around the eyes, fine creases on the cheeks, visible pores, and dull-looking skin. Unlike treatments designed to add significant volume to hollow areas, this treatment focuses on improving the hydration, firmness, and radiance of the skin itself.

Sensitive Skin Set or Skin Booster Injection: Which Should You Choose?
For patients with significant dryness who particularly want to improve skin firmness and radiance, we generally recommend Skin Booster Injections. Unlike our Sensitive Skin Set, this treatment uses fine needles to deliver the selected solution directly into the skin.
On the other hand, we do not recommend the Skin Booster Injection described on this page specifically for treating pigmentation or melasma. “Dullness” can have different causes, including dryness, pigmentation, or melasma. We examine your skin during consultation and recommend a treatment based on the cause and your individual goals.
We Customize Not Only the Product, but Also Where and How Much We Inject
Even when the same Skin Booster Injection technique is used, the treatment may differ between someone mainly concerned about fine lines around the eyes and someone concerned about redness or pores on the cheeks.
We first ask which concerns and areas bother you most. We then determine the product combination, injection areas, and amount based on your skin condition. Rather than using exactly the same formulation over the entire face, we may adjust the formulation and amount for each area.
HYCOOX Delivers Small Amounts of Product Directly into the Skin
HYCOOX is a device that gently suctions the skin while delivering the selected product through nine ultra-fine needles. We chose this system because it allows us to inject treatment solutions directly and evenly into the skin.
“Skin Booster Injection” refers to the injection method rather than a specific product. Skin-rejuvenating products such as Sunekos and Vitaran can be delivered into the skin using this device. A Treatment Our Own Doctors and Staff Receive
Our doctors and clinic staff, including our medical director, also receive Skin Booster Injections themselves. It is a treatment that many of us choose to continue regularly.
How Do We Choose the Right Skin Booster Product?
Each injectable has different characteristics. At our clinic, we often recommend Sunekos for patients mainly concerned about dryness, fine wrinkles, and loss of firmness.
If redness is also a concern, we may consider products containing polynucleotides (PN), such as Vitaran, Rejuran, or Pluryal Densify. Sunekos may also be selected in some cases of redness.
Because the best product depends on the cause of redness and the condition of your skin, you do not need to select a specific injectable before your consultation.
For Patients Who Want to Start at a Lower Cost
Cytocare 2.5cc is ¥29,800. It is an option for patients who would like to try Skin Booster Injections for the first time or who want to consider the cost of continuing treatment.
For Patients Who Want More Intensive Care for Firmness and Fine Lines
We may recommend Sunekos as the main product, combined with Vitaran or Skin Botox. If visible pores or excessive sebum are also concerns, Skin Botox can be added.

One combination I particularly recommend is our Premium Set, which combines Sunekos, Vitaran, Filorga, and Skin Botox.

This patient was concerned about fine lines beside the nose, visible pores, and forehead wrinkles. One month after a single treatment, improvements were observed in fine lines and pores as well as changes in skin firmness and radiance.
About the Treatments Shown in These Cases
The treatment is a Skin Booster Injection, in which small amounts of treatment solution are injected into the skin. Current prices range from ¥29,800 to ¥90,000 per session, including tax and anesthesia. Add-ons are charged separately. The price at the time the photographed patients were treated may have been different. Main risks include redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding, bruising, needle marks, temporary unevenness, allergic reactions, and other complications. Results and recovery vary between individuals.
Deep Nasolabial Folds Usually Require a Different Treatment
Skin Booster Injections are designed to improve skin firmness and fine lines. For deeply etched nasolabial folds or hollows beside the nose, Skin Booster Injections alone may not provide sufficient improvement. In these cases, we may recommend treatments such as Growth Factor injections or hyaluronic acid filler.
Can You Have Just One Skin Booster Treatment? When Do Results Appear?
Some patients notice improvement in fine lines, firmness, and radiance after just one treatment. A single treatment is available, so patients who would simply like to try Skin Booster Injections are welcome to consult us.
The timing of results varies between individuals. As a general guideline at our clinic, some patients begin noticing changes within approximately 3–5 days. Firmness and radiance may continue to improve over approximately 1–2 weeks.
Repeated treatment may help enhance and maintain the results. The recommended interval and number of sessions depend on the product used and how your skin responds.
You do not need to use exactly the same product every time. The formulation can be changed according to your current concerns, such as increased dryness during a certain season or periods when pores or redness are more noticeable.
Planning Treatment Before a Wedding or Other Important Event
Some of our patients have completed three Skin Booster Injection sessions before their wedding day.
Because bruising can occasionally remain after treatment, we do not recommend scheduling treatment immediately before your wedding. Please consult us once your event date has been decided. We will evaluate your skin and schedule and recommend an appropriate number of treatments and timing.
Pain, Downtime, and Makeup After Skin Booster Injections
At our clinic, we allow enough time for topical anesthetic cream to take effect before treatment. Because the procedure uses needles, some discomfort is expected, but the device settings are adjusted for each treatment area to reduce discomfort as much as possible.
Main risks include redness, swelling, pain, pinpoint bleeding, bruising, needle marks, temporary unevenness, allergic reactions, and infection. If Skin Botox is used, temporary changes in facial expression may occur. Precautions vary depending on the products used.
Frequently Asked Questions About Skin Booster Injections
Can I See Results After Just One Skin Booster Treatment?
Some patients notice improvement in fine lines, firmness, and radiance after one treatment. A single session is available. If you decide to continue treatment, we will recommend the appropriate interval and number of sessions based on the injectable used and the progress of your skin.
How Many Days Does It Take to See Results?
At our clinic, some patients begin noticing changes approximately 3–5 days after treatment. Changes in firmness and radiance may continue to become more noticeable over 1–2 weeks. Results vary between individuals.
I Don’t Know Which Product to Choose. What Should I Do?
You do not need to decide before visiting the clinic. For patients who want to start at a lower price, Cytocare may be an option. For firmness and fine lines, we often recommend Sunekos. If redness is also a concern, Vitaran may be considered. We will recommend an option after discussing your skin condition, concerns, and budget.
What Is the Difference Between the Standard and Premium Packages?
The Standard package includes Sunekos 4cc, Cytocare 2.5cc, and Skin Botox 56 units for ¥65,000. The Premium package includes Sunekos 4cc, Vitaran 2cc, Filorga 3cc, and Skin Botox 80 units for ¥90,000. Both prices include tax and anesthesia and are designed to address dryness, loss of firmness, fine lines, and visible pores.
Can I Combine Different Products or Change Them at My Next Treatment?
Yes. Additional products can be combined with your base injectable. You do not need to use the same combination every time. We can adjust the formulation, injection areas, and amount according to your current concerns, such as dryness, fine lines, visible pores, or redness.
Can Skin Booster Injections Improve Dark Spots or Melasma?
The Skin Booster Injection treatments described on this page are not specifically recommended for treating pigmentation or melasma. They are primarily recommended for patients who want to improve dryness, fine lines, firmness, and radiance. If pigmentation or melasma is your main concern, we will recommend another treatment after examining your skin.
Are Skin Booster Injections Painful? Is Anesthesia Charged Separately?
Because needles are used, some discomfort is expected. At our clinic, topical anesthetic cream is applied beforehand to reduce pain. The listed prices include anesthesia. The total appointment time is approximately 1–1.5 hours including anesthesia.
Can I Apply Makeup Immediately After Treatment?
Please avoid makeup immediately after treatment. At our clinic, we advise patients to wait at least approximately 6 hours. Please follow the instructions provided according to redness, needle marks, and the condition of your skin after treatment.
Can Skin Booster Injections Treat Deep Nasolabial Folds?
Deeply etched nasolabial folds or hollows beside the nose are difficult to improve sufficiently with Skin Booster Injections alone. We distinguish between treatments for fine wrinkles and skin firmness and treatments designed to improve deeper nasolabial folds or volume loss.
