“My skin doesn’t seem as healthy as it used to.” “Have these fine lines always been here?”
Do you still notice dryness even after moisturizing, or find yourself noticing more fine lines whenever you look in the mirror?
Pluryal Densify is a skin booster injection designed to improve dryness, fine lines, and loss of firmness. Rather than significantly changing the shape of the face, we recommend it for patients who want to restore hydration and firmness to their skin.
Key Takeaway
Pluryal Densify contains PN to support skin repair, non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid for hydration, and mannitol, an antioxidant. At our clinic, we offer manual injection of 2cc for ¥65,000 for targeted areas and Skin Booster Injection using a device, 2cc for ¥55,000 for broader treatment. Both prices include tax and anesthesia.
What Are the Benefits of Pluryal Densify?
Pluryal Densify is an injectable product developed by MD Skin Solutions in Luxembourg. The Pluryal range includes several products, and at our clinic we use Densify, which combines PN, non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, and mannitol.
Improving Dryness, Fine Lines, Firmness, and Radiance
Non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid attracts and retains moisture, while PN helps support skin repair. The treatment is designed to improve hydration and elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines caused by dryness and skin lacking firmness.
We use it for concerns such as fine lines around the mouth that remain visible even when the face is relaxed, reduced firmness in the cheeks, and overall skin dryness. Unlike hyaluronic acid filler used to add volume to hollows, the purpose of this treatment is to improve the quality and texture of the skin itself.
For Patients Concerned About Pores, Redness, and Uneven Skin Tone
We also see patients who are concerned about visible pores caused by reduced skin firmness, or who experience redness or uneven skin tone in addition to dryness. For these concerns, we may recommend products containing PN.
If redness is persistent, we will also examine whether treatment for conditions such as dermatitis or rosacea may be necessary.
We Also Actively Use Pluryal Densify Around the Eyes
At our clinic, Pluryal Densify is also actively used to improve fine lines and skin quality around the eyes. Below are examples of patients who experienced improvement in under-eye dark circles and fine lines.
Man in His 30s | Improvement in Dark Circles, Pores, and Skin Quality

Woman in Her 50s | Pluryal Densify Combined with Botox for Fine Lines Around the Eyes

The photographs show individual patient outcomes, and results vary. The woman in her 50s also received Botox treatment.
When Do Results Appear? How Many Treatments Are Recommended?
A general guideline for noticing results is approximately 2–4 weeks after treatment. Some patients, such as the man in his 30s shown above, may notice improvement as early as 1 week after treatment.
Small bumps immediately after injection usually settle within several days. After this, many patients begin to notice improvements in hydration and firmness.
Some patients notice improved hydration and radiance after one treatment. However, for patients who want more significant improvement in overall skin quality, we generally recommend approximately 3 treatments at intervals of 3–4 weeks.
You can decide whether to continue after seeing how your skin responds to the first treatment. For maintenance, one guideline is treatment every 3–6 months depending on dryness and fine lines.
Manual Injection vs. Skin Booster Injection: Differences and Prices
Pluryal Densify is the name of the injectable product. The same product can either be injected manually by a doctor or delivered using a Skin Booster Injection device.
Manual Injection | Targeting Fine Lines and Specific Areas
The doctor adjusts the injection point, depth, and amount for each individual injection. This method is suitable when we want to follow individual wrinkle lines or concentrate treatment on a specific area.
2cc ¥65,000 Tax & anesthesia included
Available at our Osaka, Tokyo, and Nagoya clinics.
Skin Booster Injection | For Overall Dryness and Loss of Firmness
A dedicated device is used to deliver small amounts of product into the superficial layers of the skin. This method is suitable when we want to distribute the product evenly across a larger area, such as the cheeks.
At our clinic, we use the HYCOOX injection system.
2cc ¥55,000 Tax & anesthesia included
Skin Booster Injection treatment is available at our Osaka and Nagoya clinics.
If you are unsure whether manual injection or a Skin Booster Injection is more appropriate, simply tell us which areas concern you. We will recommend an injection method depending on whether the goal is to precisely target fine wrinkles or improve skin quality over a larger area.

Including anesthesia, the approximate treatment time is 40 minutes to 1 hour for manual injection and approximately 1–1.5 hours for Skin Booster Injection. Additional consultation time is required.
When Combining Treatment with Botox
The manual injection combination and Skin Botox added to Skin Booster Injection have different injection techniques and treatment goals. We will determine the appropriate option depending on whether your main concern is expression lines, facial sweating, or excessive sebum.
All treatments are elective cosmetic procedures. Prices include consultation, needles, and anesthesia. We explain the total cost, including any additional products and amounts, before treatment.
How PN, Non-Cross-Linked Hyaluronic Acid, and Mannitol Work
Pluryal Densify combines ingredients intended to support skin repair with ingredients that provide hydration and antioxidant effects. This formulation is one of the reasons we use Densify at our clinic.

PN (Polynucleotides) | Supports Skin Repair
PN is obtained from purified salmon-derived DNA. It acts on fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin, and may help improve skin firmness and elasticity.
One 2cc syringe of Densify contains 20mg of PN.
Non-Cross-Linked Hyaluronic Acid | Adds Hydration to the Skin
Hyaluronic acid has the ability to retain water. The hyaluronic acid in Densify is not a firm, cross-linked filler designed to maintain facial volume. Instead, it is non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid designed to provide hydration to the skin.
One 2cc syringe contains 20mg.
Mannitol | Helps Protect Hyaluronic Acid from Degradation
Mannitol has antioxidant properties and helps reduce the breakdown of hyaluronic acid caused by oxidative stress. The combination of mannitol with PN and hyaluronic acid is one of the characteristics of Densify.
One 2cc syringe contains 80mg of mannitol.
Ingredient amounts and product characteristics are based on the manufacturer’s 2026 documentation .
The manufacturer does not include the eye area among its recommended treatment areas for Densify. At our clinic, we also use it around the eyes based on the physician’s clinical judgment.
How Is Pluryal Densify Different from Rejuran and Sunekos?
Pluryal Densify vs. Rejuran: Hyaluronic Acid and Mannitol
Rejuran is also a skin booster injection whose main ingredient is PN. Pluryal Densify contains PN as well as non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and mannitol.
We may recommend it for patients who want to support skin repair while also addressing dryness and lack of hydration.
We also offer Rejuran and Vitaran. If you have received skin booster injections before, please tell us what you liked about the previous treatment and what you felt could have been better.

Sunekos Contains Non-Cross-Linked Hyaluronic Acid and Six Amino Acids
Sunekos contains six amino acids rather than PN. Combined with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, it is used as a skin booster treatment for fine lines and loss of firmness.
At our clinic, we often recommend Sunekos for dryness and fine lines, while products containing PN may be considered when redness is also a concern.
Pluryal Densify Treats Different Types of Wrinkles from Hyaluronic Acid Filler or Botox
If the goal is to add volume to a hollow beside the nose or a deep crease, hyaluronic acid filler may be used. For expression wrinkles that appear when smiling or frowning, Botox may be suitable because it reduces excessive muscle activity.
Pluryal Densify is used for fine wrinkles made more noticeable by dryness and for skin lacking firmness. As shown in the eye-area case above, Botox may sometimes be combined with Pluryal Densify when both skin quality and facial muscle movement need to be addressed.
Downtime and Aftercare
Immediately after injection, redness and small bumps may appear at the needle sites. With manual injection, small raised bumps similar to mosquito bites may temporarily be noticeable.
Other potential risks include infection, allergic reactions, and lumps. Please contact our clinic if severe redness, pain, or warmth persists. Even if the temporary bumps are noticeable, please do not massage them forcefully yourself.
When Can I Wash My Face or Apply Makeup?
For manual injections, makeup may be resumed from 1 hour after treatment. For Skin Booster Injections, makeup should be avoided for at least 6 hours.
The exact timing may vary depending on redness and needle marks, so please follow the instructions given on the day of treatment. When washing your face or applying skincare, avoid rubbing or pulling the skin and moisturize gently.
Avoid Alcohol, Strenuous Exercise, Saunas, and Long Hot Baths on the Day of Treatment
Activities that increase blood circulation may worsen redness, swelling, or bruising. For this reason, please avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, saunas, and prolonged hot baths on the day of treatment. A lukewarm shower is recommended instead.
Please avoid strong facial massage for approximately 1–2 weeks. As a general rule, we recommend waiting at least 2 weeks before receiving HIFU or laser treatment on the same area. The appropriate interval varies depending on the treatment being combined, so please tell us the date of any recent cosmetic procedures when booking.
Please Tell Us Before Treatment If Any of the Following Apply
Please inform us in advance if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have previously experienced an allergic reaction to fish or injectable products, or have dermatitis or an infection in the area you want treated. Treatment may need to be postponed.
We will also ask about your medical conditions, medications, and any recent cosmetic treatments.
Frequently Asked Questions About Pluryal Densify
Can I Have Just One Treatment?
Yes. A single treatment is available, and some patients notice improved hydration and radiance after one session. For patients who want a more significant improvement in skin quality, we generally recommend approximately three treatments at intervals of 3–4 weeks.
How Much of the Face Can Be Treated with 2cc?
One syringe contains 2cc. The amount used in each location depends on whether the product is distributed widely across the face or concentrated on areas such as the cheeks or around the mouth. We will discuss the areas you want treated and explain the required amount and total cost in advance.
Can It Be Used for Dark Circles Under the Eyes?
At our clinic, we actively use Pluryal Densify to improve skin quality and fine lines around the eyes. We also show a case in which dark circles improved.
If the primary cause is significant under-eye hollowing or protruding fat, we may recommend other treatment options as well.
Can Pluryal Densify Improve Nasolabial Folds?
It may be used for dryness, fine lines around the mouth, and reduced skin firmness. However, if your concern is a deep nasolabial fold or a hollow beside the nose, we will recommend a treatment appropriate for the actual cause and depth of the fold.
Pluryal and Nasolabial Fold Treatment / Wrinkles Around the Mouth
Is the Treatment Painful? What Is the Downtime?
Because multiple small injections are performed, you may feel repeated stinging sensations. At our clinic, topical anesthetic cream is applied and left on for approximately 15–20 minutes before injection. Please let us know if the treatment feels too painful. We will continue while checking your comfort.
Injection-site bumps usually settle within approximately half a day to 3 days. If bruising occurs, it may take approximately 1–2 weeks to improve.
Can I Switch from Rejuran to Pluryal Densify?
Yes, you can discuss switching treatments with us. Both contain PN, but Densify also contains non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and mannitol. Please tell us the date and area of your previous treatment as well as the results and recovery you experienced.
Will It Add Volume Like Hyaluronic Acid Filler?
No. Pluryal Densify is different from hyaluronic acid filler that is used to add volume and change facial contours.
However, temporary small bumps and swelling caused by the injected product may appear immediately after treatment. These usually settle over several days.
Can I Apply Makeup Immediately After Treatment?
Please avoid makeup immediately after treatment. At our clinic, makeup may be resumed from 1 hour after manual injection and no earlier than 6 hours after Skin Booster Injection. Please follow the instructions given on the day of treatment according to the condition of the needle marks and redness.

Pluryal Densify is a skin booster injection that combines PN, non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, and mannitol to support hydration and skin firmness. We recommend it for patients who want to improve the appearance and quality of their skin naturally.
If you are unsure whether manual injection or Skin Booster Injection is right for you, please discuss it with us during your consultation. We will examine the areas that concern you and explain which method may be more suitable, including the total cost.
